Our Students Musical Journey with MYC
We are thrilled to share the incredible journeys of our students who achieved Grade 8 (ABRSM Piano Practical) in music before the age of 13. Their success is directly attributed to their early participation in the "Music for Young Children" (MYC) program, which they joined at around 3 to 4 years old.
The MYC program has been pivotal in nurturing their musical talent from the start, with key factors including:
1. Early Exposure: Introduction to music at an early age laid a solid foundation, with interactive, age-appropriate activities making learning enjoyable and accessible.
2. Comprehensive Curriculum: MYC offered a comprehensive musical education, covering piano, music theory, ear training, and rhythm, fostering well-rounded skills.
3. Dedicated MYC Teachers: Our skilled and nurturing MYC Teachers have played a pivotal role in guiding, patiently mentoring, and facilitating progress.
4. Progressive Learning: The structured curriculum allowed students to progress at their own pace, steadily advancing through different proficiency levels, enhancing motivation.
5. Encouragement and Support: Participation in MYC not only developed musical abilities but also instilled confidence, discipline, and a love for music, thanks to the positive environment and encouragement.
6. Practice and Dedication: Students' unwavering commitment to practice and mastering their craft reflects the program's emphasis on consistent effort.
7. Parental Involvement: Parents have been instrumental, actively supporting and nurturing their children's passion for music, believing unwaveringly in their talent.
