Music Zoo Recital Concert 2019

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO PERFORMERS AND PARENTS

​Concert Show Time

The Concert will have 3 sessions with the following show start time:

Admission by Tickets (Free Seating) - No admission for children below 3 years old

Session 1 - 12:15pm to 1:20pm

Session 2 - 2pm to 3pm

Session 3 - 3:45pm to 4:45pm

For audience, you should arrive 10 minutes before the show start time at Door 1 of the Recital Studio. Late comers will only be allowed into the Recital Studio during the intervals of the performance subject to the discretion of the Esplanade ushers. 

Rehearsal Reporting Time for Performers

For performers, you should arrive at the following timing : 

Meeting point at Door 1 of the Recital Studio (Level 2). 

Session 1 performers : 11:00 am

Session 2 performers : 1:00 pm

Session 3 performers  : 2:45 pm

For performers (student and parent), you will be issued with a security pass before you can enter the Recital Studio. Performers must arrive on time to be able to be admitted to the Recital Studio for rehearsal/walk through. We will not allow any latecomers to enter the studio once the rehearsal has started.

Do ensure your child has taken early lunch (for session 1) and toilet break before the rehearsal timing to minimize movement during the performance.

Dress code for performers : Smart Casual with covered shoes.

Photography/Videography During the Show

Due to Esplanade strict rules in regard to video/photography during the performance, you are strongly advised not to take photos or videos during the performance. Ushers will be stationed to ensure that nobody is taking video or photos during the performance. If you bring your DSLR camera to the show, you will be required to deposit them at lockers outside the Recital Studio before you can be admitted to the show. 

We have engaged a video/photography who will capture every performer during the show and the video/photos will be shared via weblink once they are professionally edited. Thus, you just need to enjoy the show and we will take care of the memories.

Ticket Sales/Concert Participation Fee

Concert Participation Fee :

Standard  - $80 (with two complimentary tickets)
Sibling      - $60 (without ticket)

Additional Ticket Fee - $10 per pax (Does not admit children 3 years below).

Ticket collection:
MYC Thomson - at the reception counter upon payment
MYC Orchard - Teacher will issued ticket upon payment

Please collect your tickets before the concert day. We will have a counter to issue tickets which remained not collected before concert day.

Security Notice

It is Esplanade's security requirement that all performers must submit their identification details (birth certificate numbers or NRIC) to them via a list before the show date. Admission into the Studio for rehearsal is strictly according to the name list with IDs submitted by Music Zoo. Please provide your ID to us if you have not done so. There will be 7 teachers to manage the performers during the rehearsal. The ratio will be 1 teacher to every 4 performers.

Once the show has ended, we will gather the performers into the stage and release the performers to the parents in an orderly manner.
